Traditional Chiropractic is intended to relieve or manage symptoms and focuses on temporarily reducing pain and increasing range of motion. It utilizes many pain-based therapies like hot/cold pads, ultrasound, electric stimulation, and general joint manipulation. Most chiropractors practice this way and they are good at it, but our Neurostructural Chiropractors at APEX are different. They look beyond managing pain and other symptoms.

Neurostructural Chiropractic involves the detection and correction of any underlying structural shifts in the spinal column. These shifts are often times the underlying cause of many symptoms (or what we call secondary conditions). By addressing these shifts we’re addressing the underlying cause of the issue, rather than managing the symptoms.

Common conditions that our Neurostructural Chiropractors work with include spinal shifting like scoliosis and hypolordosis, degenerated or herniated discs, nerve pressure, numbness & tingling, joint stiffness, chronic pain, and migraine headaches.
