Knee & hip pain

The painful joint is rarely the whole story.

The short answer

Knee and hip pain have several possible causes. Assessment considers symptoms, joint function and relevant movement or activity demands. The plan is selected for the findings rather than assuming every painful joint needs the same whole-leg treatment.

What is usually going on

You may feel pain on stairs, squatting, running or after sitting. Our team manages everything from runner’s knee to rehabilitation after ACL reconstruction and joint replacement.

How we treat it

We assess the joints above and below the pain, your strength and your movement patterns, then combine manual therapy with a progressive strength program — handing off to kinesiology when you are ready for sport-specific work.

Common questions

What people ask us most about knee & hip pain.

Can physiotherapy help after ACL surgery?

Rehabilitation is an important part of recovery. Progress considers function, symptoms, healing time and the surgeon’s instructions; return-to-sport decisions are individual.
