What is usually going on
Neck pain commonly follows long hours at a screen, poor sleep positions, stress or a whiplash-type injury. Headaches that start at the back of the head, sit on one side, or change with neck movement are worth an assessment.
Neck pain and headache can occur together without sharing one cause.
The short answer
Recurrent or changing headaches deserve appropriate assessment. The combination of neck pain and headache does not establish the cause. Treatment options depend on the headache type and findings; neck treatment is not suitable for every headache.

We examine the upper neck joints, the surrounding muscles, the jaw and your working posture. Care may include mobilization or manipulation, soft-tissue therapy, acupuncture and a short set of exercises that build endurance in the deep neck muscles.
You can book any of these directly. We coordinate when you need more than one.
